The front lines of the political battlegrounds have shifted west this year, and Indiana right in the middle. The Economist magazine surveyed responses from 146 economists, and found overwhelming support for Barack Obama’s economic plan. Some interesting statistics:
Over 75% of economists think that the economy is either 4 or 5 on 5-point scale from “not important” to “very important”, with 5 being “very important”
80% of respondents think Barack Obama will pick a better economic team
80% of respondents think Obama has a better grasp of economics
About 70% of respondents would rather work for Obama
